If not, you can enter the forum in a diffrent way, for example, you can enter my userpage, click on any of my threads, once you'll get on the site with the thread, click the link about that'll say 'Forum' and from there you should be able to open any Forum type.

Yeah, it has been a while.
DOn't worry about the question.
When one of my friends entered MT, I had to explain everything to him for hours! (seriously).
Making a thread is quite simple, so I hope I'll be able to present it in a simple way.
First of all, you'll need to go to the forum (the link should be on the top of the site).
After that, you need to choose the correct forum type, for example if you're going to make a thread about some anime titel, you should enter ANime/Manga Lounge, if it's some game, Spam Lounge then and so on (there are describtions to all, so you should be able to figure out in which category your thread goes to).
Once you've entered the correct forum, on the bottom of the site, you should have the place to write the thread topic (for example 'What's your favorite 'Naruto' character').
Bellow it there'd be a space to write a description (it shouldn't be to short and also say exacly what the thread is about or what's the question you're asking).
Also, if you're asking a question or making some sort of competition, you can also click the link 'Poll' which should be right under the space for the descripction (not sre if that's the name of the link, but I guess you should be able to figure out what I mean when you see it).
After clicking it, the possibility to write possible answers appear (for example, you're asking about the favorite 'Going Merry' character from 'One Piece' and giving one answer name 'Ruffy', the second one 'Zoro' and so on... please note that there can be only five answers in the poll).
After you're done, just click the button under the space you where filling (can't remember the buttons name, but it's probably something like 'submit thread' or something).
